Gel wax, also known as jelly wax, is often used to make candles and wax melts. This unique substance is made by combining mineral oil and polymer resin to form a jelly-like texture that is both squishy and translucent.
A significant advantage of gel wax is its extended burn time; it often lasts twice as long as traditional soy or paraffin wax melts. A single 10g pot can last up to 14 hours, making it both long-lasting and excellent value.
The best part about using gel wax is undoubtedly the cleanup; once the scent fades and the gel cools, it can be easily peeled away from your burner, leaving it clean and ready for the next scent, without any mess or residue.
For best results, we recommend using a tealight burner rather than an electric warmer. Gel wax requires higher temperatures for melting, which most electric warmers cannot reach.
Our gel wax is packaged in clear plastic pots containing 10g of gel. After the gel has been removed, the pot can be recycled, supporting our commitment to minimizing waste.
Fluffy Towels Scent: A floral accord with fruity & citrus top notes leading to a heart of muguet, rose, Jasmin & lily and a clean base of musk & woods.
Instructions for Use: Remove the gel wax from the pot by gently peeling it out and placing it into the bowl of your tealight burner. Light a tealight candle and position it underneath the bowl to gently heat the gel. As the gel begins to melt, it will gradually release its fragrance, filling your space with scent.
